DSI seek to prosecute Abhisit and Suthep for "murder"

A report has appeared in Thai national newspaper, Matichon, which claims that the Department of Special Investigations (the DSI - the Thai version of the FBI) are seeking to prosecute both former Thai PM and present leader of the Thai Democrat Party, Abhisit Vejjajiva, and his former deputy, Suthep Thaugsuban for murder.

The charges have not yet been formally placed on Abhisit and Suthep but are based on actions both men took during the brutal crackdown against mostly peaceful civilian pro-democracy protesters in April/May 2010 in Bangkok which led to 90+ deaths and 2000 injuries.

The DSI are reportedly seeking to place both murder and attempted murder charges against Abhisit and Suthep.
